Denyce Lawton

A native of Seoul, South Korea, Denyce Lawton got to see the world as a military brat, crossing Japan and Germany before living in Kansas, North Carolina, New Jersey and Washington, DC. Plans to become a cardiologist led her to the Pre-Med program at the University of Maryland, but she later gave up playing doctor to follow her real passion for entertainment. Since then she has quickened heartbeats with her work in such movies as State Property, Malibooty and as a flight attendant opposite Captain Snoop in Soul Plane, also cruising high in “The Parkers,” “Half & Half” and other TV fare. Videos for Nas, Eve, Jaheim, 112 and Clay Aiken have spotlighted her talents, as well as The Source Magazine and XXL, among other glossies. Denyce describes herself as a “take-charge kind of gal” and we certainly get quite a charge from her.
